THE NEED:
The team behind COOL OFF® – It’s 2 Cool, Ltd. – has a team of owners (Debbie, Linda, Dawn, Bev, and Jim) who know sweltering heat firsthand, live fitness-oriented lives, and all (except Jim) experienced those wicked hot flashes. When they could not find any convenient, portable product to use to mitigate these conditions, they let necessity spur invention, using their own experience to create and launch a product that offers a quick (and long lasting) chill – COOL OFF®.

THE GAP IN THE MARKET:
From the very beginning, the team was committed to the importance of creating a formula that was not sticky, stinky, or chemical-laden. They also insisted that it be convenient and easy to use. The team believed that a natural “cooling” product might be a welcome newcomer in the marketplace. And in a relatively short time, it became clear that they were really on to something; they had found a very large consumer niche. COOL OFF® appealed to virtually everyone who welcomed a way to cool off in a hurry. Their next discovery was that there definitely is a gap in the market for a product so unique – and also, that there is a very substantial market within that gap.

THE RESEARCH CONFIRMATIONS:
Relying on their expertise with product development, the team made their decisions based on consumer research data. When they tested the concept and product in the first focus groups, the enthusiastic reaction COOL OFF® received was both phenomenal and very rare. Then, when follow-up national studies quantitatively confirmed this positivity (92% of the targeted demo claimed they loved the concept and would purchase it) the team got serious about producing it. Endless hours of R & D work with a lab followed. The result? The birth of COOL OFF® – with its infused blend of natural cooling herbs, moisturizing botanicals, and essential oils. So it’s natural – while being naturally easy to use.

THE COOL OFF® TEAM:
Now, back to that huge consumer niche for COOL OFF®. Jim, who runs marathons, has personally used COOL OFF® during those critical “low” times during the 26.2 mile ordeal, while Bev uses it prior, and between teaching yoga classes. Deb has used it with other parent-spectators while watching their kids play soccer (from San Diego to Boston), and Linda uses it when she still feels the after effects from chemotherapy which affected her bodily temperature gauge. Dawn refreshes after trail riding or hiking in the mountains.
